Nice one

Back from a fantastic time in Antwerp. We went on the superfast Eurostar (good thing we didn't go the following week as it broke down ) I took over 700 photo's which you can so easily do using a digital camera. We stayed at Het Melkhuis, which is a lovely eco house 10mins from the station. We walked and walked and drank mint teas and coffees, ate in some wonderful cafes and restaurants, visited museums admired the architecture, sat in some squares (plaats), window shopped and generally took in the atmosphere. The weather was perfect and we would just like to say -
"NICE ONE"ANTWERP" we want to come back.

Where did the summer go???

Wow nearly halfway through September!! How did that happen? where did the summer go?
I admire all you people out there who keep on blogging regularly and with such commitment. My last post was 3 months ago!!! ....and I can't even say I've been on holiday, unless a long weekend visiting my parents can count as such. Still, I'm looking forward to 6 days in Antwerp next week.
I've been putting up an exhibition of work done with an after school club. we got them to draw around themselves and cut out the silhouettes, made masks and dressed up in funny glasses and wigs and made prints of things they like doing - watching tv, going to the park, singing etc We were putting it up on the inside and then I went to take a photo from the outside so we could see the overalll look of it. The sun was shining strongly.... no I'm not complaining at all - but the reflection on the window meant you can't clearly see the display.
After finishing the display I went to visit my friend Lucy at her new studio in Bank's Mill and then I went to another after school club where we made the animal heads which will be displayed in the previously mentioned exhibition in a few weeks.
.....Meanwhile around the corner this big wheel is going up.
