"Walkabout"

On Sunday we spent a glorious day on the outskirts of Manchester. We went to meet number 2 son from the airport, returning from China. We walked up through the village to Alderley Edge  "a prominent ridge of land with a small village nestled against its western flank. Thousands of people visit the Edge each year having been drawn by the legends and history of Alderley Edge. There are many unusual sites nestled amongst the ancient trees and many of these are linked to the legend of the Wizard and his knights" more history here
Found a perfect little dwelling in a nice setting.

It feels like Spring :)

Some flowers are brightening up my home.
There has been warm sun in the last few days.......look what it was like a few weeks ago!

Day trip

We had a drive out through lovely countryside to the small town of Ashbourne where we browsed in some antique shops and had afternoon coffee and cake
